Healing...Beyond the Silence

                      Healing...Beyond the Silence

Healing…so many of us need to be healed.  God understands this and has supplied us the opportunity.  Just as there are steps for us to take in order to prepare for work or school, the same applies for healing and fulfilling our God-given purpose.

In Psalm 39:2-3 David said, “I was dumb with silence, I held my peace, even from good; and my sorrow was stirred. My heart was hot within me, while I was musing the fire burned: then spake I with my tongue.”  David was describing himself at a time when he was silent.  Because of the silence, his wounding increased until he spoke to God.

The world english dictionary defines silence as the refusal or failure to speak or communicate.  The bible also relates healing to speaking in other scriptures such as James 5:16a, “Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed.”  By confessing our sins and prayer, healing occurs in our lives.

Revelation 12:11a, “And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony…”  Our testimonies are how we overcome the enemy after receiving salvation.  Therefore, we understand by the word of God, that healing occurs beyond the silence.  Once we release our troubles, we make room within our spirit-man to be healed.

Fight for your Life (FFYL) offers a twelve week cycle spiritually-based individual and group counseling entitled, Healing…Beyond the Silence.  This counseling is for adults which provides a safe environment for individuals to express their challenges in life with expectancy to be healed by the end of the cycle.

The sessions are teleconferenced unless the local interest calls for face-to-face counseling.  The date and time will be determined based upon the best time for the individuals committing.

If you have wounds that have not healed, this is for you.  For more information or to make your commitment, please email us at contactFFYL@fightformylife.com or call 936-635-5318.  Please share this ministry effort with others whom may be interested.
